UGC NET 2011 Online Application and Notification | UGC NET 2011 Exam Date and Eligibility

UGC NET has issued notification for Junior Research fellowship and to determine eligibility for Lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for India nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research the test will be held on 26th June 2011 (Sunday) in Humanities, Social Sciences (including languages), Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science etc.

AGE: for Junior Research Fellowship the age not be more than 28 years as on 01.06.2011. A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants. Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority. Three years’ relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing L.L.M. Degree. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances.

For Lectureship the upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility.

Eligibility: The candidates who are interested must have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually Handicapped (VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examinations are eligible for this Test.

Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test.

The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991.

Examination Fee: For General category the fee is: Rs.450/-

For Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website : www.ncbc.nic.in ) Rs.225/-

SC/ST/PH/VH candidates Rs.110/-

The candidate is expected to fill the Bank Challan Form in triplicate (Bank Copy, UGC Copy & Candidate’s Copy) as given in the Notification.

The Bank may call only the requisite number of candidates after preliminary screening/short-listing with reference to the candidates’ qualifications, suitability, etc. The Written Test will be held on Sunday, 19th June 2011 at the centers mentioned.

NDA Entrance Exam (II) 2011 National Defence Academy - Navel Academy

The Union Public Service Commissions has issued the exam notification for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2011. The last date of online registration is 9th May 2011 and the date for admission to army exam is 21st August 2011. Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 128th Course and for the 90th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). Course will be commenced from June 2012.

Eligibility: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
