State Bank of India PO Recruitment 2011

State Bank of India announced the recruitments of Probationary Officers in State Bank of India. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in State Bank of India. Candidates selected are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized College / University. The age limit not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.05.2011 there is relaxation in the upper age limit to reserve category candidates

Upper age is relaxation by

1. 3 years in the case of OBC candidates.
2. 5 years in the case of : (a) SC/ST candidates. (b) Ex-servicemen
3. 10 years for VH/OH (Gen); 13 years for VH/OH (OBC) and 15 years for VH/OH (SC/ST) candidates.

Notes for Orthopaedically Handicapped (OH)/Visually Handicapped (VH) Candidates

Selection Procedure: To select candidates there will be two phases:

Phase-I: Written Examination—combined Duration 3 Hrs. and maximum marks for combined are 250.

Phase-II: There will be Group Discussion and Interview in the second phase. The maximum marks for phase II are 50 [GD-20 and Interview-30]
